During my stay at Ibis Besancon Centre La City, I was warmly greeted with a welcome drink, setting a pleasant tone for my visit. The buffet breakfast was a delightful spread of sweet and savory dishes, including fresh fruits, yogurt, and juices, providing a great start to each day. The Bistro Régent restaurant, with its bistro menu based on fresh produce, offered a true taste of French cuisine right on the banks of the Doubs River. Conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from Besançon city center, the hotel was a perfect base for exploring the city's museums and attractions. The room, though small, was comfortable and well-equipped with air conditioning. The 43-inch TV with satellite channels was a nice touch for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The hotel's eco-friendly initiatives and soundproofed rooms added to the overall experience.The staff's friendliness and helpfulness made my stay even more enjoyable, and the proximity to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed citadel allowed for easy exploration of Besançon's historic sites. I had a pleasant experience at Ibis Besancon Centre La City and would recommend it to travelers looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in the heart of Besançon.
